The Need

A major service provider’s support teams were generating numerous tickets related to system integration errors, mainly concerning employee data. As part of a leading multinational company specializing in process transformation, execution, and management, the company has a large workforce. The challenge was inconsistent update statuses due to some data being stored on their own servers and some in cloud systems. They managed this issue with a team that manually sorted, classified, and sent integration error tickets to the responsible parties several times a day.

The solution

  • They asked us to develop an error monitor and left it up to us to figure out how to do it. We developed the monitor within the customer’s BTP platform in SAP FIORI, a service that provides technical and user experience advantages compared to previous technologies. From the monitor, interactions take place with various information sources such as HCM (On-Premise) and SuccessFactors, a cloud-based human capital management solution. This integration ensures that data is unified and updated in real-time on the monitor.
