In 2022, Argentina’s National Directorate of Migration launched a digital transformation initiative to modernize overstay control and the management of immigration violations. This initiative specifically targets employers and lodging providers hosting individuals with irregular immigration status, as well as passenger transport companies that fail to comply with immigration controls. With TGV as a trusted technology partner, we successfully developed and deployed an overstay control system powered by more than 400 mobile devices (tablets) distributed across the country. Thanks to offline functionality, over 4,000 inspections per month can now be conducted in remote areas with no connectivity. Data is securely processed offline and synchronized with the central database once the device reconnects to the network.
