The Need

Motta Internacional, a globally acclaimed holding company in distribution, logistics, and retail, had multiple ERP systems in place, some of which were outdated and isolated. Over time, these systems no longer met the evolving needs of the group, leading to the necessity for a change. They needed to unify their systems! They requested a Software Evaluation and Selection Assessment to help decide which World-class ERP best suited their needs.

The Solution

The key to an efficient project was understanding how Motta Internacional operated. We designed a project focused on understanding their business processes, people, and needs on one hand, and Motta’s technological ecosystem on the other. With this information, we created an As-Is management model.

Next, we assessed the current model and emerging needs, considering the complexities of the business, operations, and regional specifics, and compared them against two world-class ERP options.

We built a multidimensional assessment model tailored to Motta’s realities and analyzed ERP solutions based on defined criteria.

This assessment made it possible to provide not only a software adoption recommendation but also a set of concrete actions.

The Benefit

As a result of the software evaluation and selection assessment, Motta was furnished with objective, well-founded information about the advantages of one ERP over another.

 

Additionally, they received a roadmap of specific actions to take before adopting the ERP.
